Joe Munene | The Standard Group PLC - Managing Director - Broadcast

He is a media executive with 20 years experience in Television broadcast management. He serves currently as the Managing Director, Broadcast Division of the Standard Group Plc. He joined the company in March 2013 and previously worked with the Nation Media Group, serving as General Manager of NTV (U), the Group's TV business in Uganda. As MD of the Television division at Standard Group, his responsibilities encompass leadership of the Group's TV and Radio operations. He is a graduate of the IESE Business School's Advanced Management Programme in Media & Entertainment and also holds an Executive MBA from the JKUAT University, Kenya. He has an avid interest in subjects covering media and entertainment, leadership, socio-economic issues and digital business.
