An established media executive with a unique skill set spanning business and technology, Euan is helping architect Astro’s product innovation and transformation roadmap. Under his watch, Astro is successfully rolling out an all-new experience, enabling aggregation ‘all in one place’. Via a connected Ultra Box and single bill, customers can seamlessly enjoy Netflix and other global streaming services like Disney+ Hotstar, HBO GO, iQIYI and TVBAnywhere+, alongside Astro’s own flagship shows and the very best of live Sports.
Other recent innovations include a fully hybrid variant of the Ultra & Ulti Boxes, removing the need for a satellite dish. Astro was first in the region to broadcast live in 4K HDR and Dolby Atmos, as well as introduce an immersive Interactive mode on Astro GO.
In his early career, Euan held roles in Unilever & KPMG before moving into senior leadership positions with Sky UK, Sky Germany, Fox and Foxtel. Trained at University of Birmingham (Mechanical Engineering) and Harvard Business School, Euan has led multiple step-changes across technology, operations and customer service. He helped launch HD and broadband in the UK, played a vital role in the successful turnaround of Sky Germany and was instrumental in the reset of Foxtel’s product & technology suite.
