Damiano Malchiodi | CANAL+ Myanmar - Channels & Content Managing Director

Born in France, English and Italian by origin. He graduated from the Sorbonne Nouvelle University in Paris in Modern Literature and holds a Master's degree in Cinema from the Panthéon-Sorbonne University. After starting his career in 1995 in production at TF1 and LODGE Productions, he joined the CANAL+ Group in 1999. He successively held positions of responsibility in production, marketing at STUDIOCANAL and editorial management of the channels in the Group's publishing division. In 2007, he participated in the creation and launch of PLANETE+ JUSTICE, and in 2011, he took over the management of CUISINE+ programmes. In 2013, he joined CANAL+ INTERNATIONAL as General Manager to participate in the creation and launch of A+, the CANAL+ Group's first 100% African Pay TV channel. In 2019 he launches A+IVOIRE the Canal+ International’s / Canal+ Group’s first DTT Free TV channel to be created in Africa. After more than 8 years of experience in Africa he is today in Asia (since September 2021) Channels & Content Managing Director for CANAL+ MYANMAR at CANAL+ INTERNATIONAL.
