Clayton Nash | CityFibre - Strategy Director

Clayton’s 25+ years of telecoms experience started with the emerging internet access market in the early nineties. This led to him joining The Cloud in 2001, where he rolled out over 10,000 Wi-Fi hotspots across three countries. Today Clayton leads CityFibre's strategy team, where he manages rollout planning, shapes long range commercial thinking and helps the business set strategic priorities. Clayton joined CityFibre from Vodafone in 2016 – where he’d led a full strategic assessment of consumer fibre network futures, advised on network investments and provided technical input into various regulatory projects. Prior to this he undertook a range of strategic roles within BT’s Openreach division – including improving the way Next Generation Access (NGA) was built and managing a Carrier Ethernet, DWDM and TDM product portfolio worth over 900 million pounds.
