Bruce Curtin | Irdeto - Product Manager

Bruce Curtin is currently a Product Manager, focusing on offering pay TV operators with the best solutions to effectively roll out new platforms that can support a robust number of applications to enable consumer choice. Bruce is an expert on hybrid Android TV and traditional Linux Middleware with a focus on scalability and time-to-market for 4K/UHD, MovieLabs security in the context of browser-based solutions and Android TV. Bruce joined Irdeto after a brief period of development in the Telecommunications industry in South Africa. Over a 20-year period, Bruce has worked on the entire suite of Irdeto security solutions, including CA client integrations, CI CAM evolution, DVB Standards, Secure Chipsets, Irdeto Middleware, Push VOD, OTT DRM, Multiscreen, Secure Payment PCI compliance, 4K/UHD and connected hybrid platform middleware with a focus on Android TV. During this period, Bruce was also involved in supporting the transition of Irdeto into an active and agile service-oriented security and solution Provider. Bruce holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electronic Engineering from the University of Cape Town (South Africa).
