Peter is responsible for aligning the TV content strategies of Deutsche Telekom’s TV operations in Europe outside of Germany since 2017. This covers sports rights, linear channels as well as partnering with D2C entertainment offerings across 9 different pay TV markets. Before joining the TV team, Peter had several corporate roles in the Deutsche Telekom headquarters including executive assistant to the Board Member Europe of Deutsche Telekom Group.

Peter is the Head of Sport at LIVENow, and is responsible for the platform’s sport strategy and acquisition of sport content. Since he joined in early 2021, Peter has successfully acquired rights for EURO 2020 in Singapore and Philippines, RIZIN, Japan’s mixed martial arts tournament, the men’s and women’s Big Bash League, The Heineken Cup and Champions Cup.

He previously worked as a correspondent in DW’s studio in Washington DC, covering North America. He also hosted TV shows like DW’s Journal and Clipmania and he won the RIAS media prize for his work on the project “Walled In!”
